Abstract
Using the method of thermal cycling of oriented nuclei (TCON) applied to highly dilute, recoil-implanted samples, we have determined the nuc lear spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) constants of Nb and Tc in Fe host i n the 10 mK range. The results are comparable with earlier experiments using resonant methods, and confirm the discrepancies with theory.
