Abstract
New results of the electron transport properties of hexagonal YCo5 and YCo3 B2 compounds are reported. The compounds belong to the Rn+1Co3n+5B2n family . The resistivity at low temperatures shows a T-2 dependence, implying that the electron-spin wave scattering and scattering by the spin fluctuations are dominant in this temperature range. At higher temperatures the resistiv ity is discussed on the basis of a band model by Mott and Jones.
