Abstract
A one-dimensional model of electron diffusion in a superlattice is examined here. The analytical dependence of the diffusion coefficient on the applie d electric field is determined. We show that, the applied field suppresses diffusion and that diffusion is absent at the electric field strengths corr esponding to electrophonon resonances. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
