Abstract
We have built a workstation farm named "Alphleet" which consists of 140 COM PAQ's Alpha 21264 CPUs, for Monte Carlo Shell Model (MCSM,I) calculations. It has achieved more than 90 % scalable performance with 140 CPUs when the MCSM calculation with PVM and 61.2 Gflops of LINPACK.
