Abstract
To investigate the law of sliding friction, we employed a simplified one-di mensional model and analyzed it by Molecular Dynamics Method. On the model, we found two interesting characteristics, (1) the accumulated energy are v ery large sometimes, and (2) in such cases, the trajectories are something special.
