Abstract
Our Milne-Spline method, though found very useful for most cases of the Stu rm-Liouville differential equations, I-las not worked well for the associat ed Laguerre and Legendre equations if m = 0 due to admixture of singular so lutions inevitable in numerical computations. This paper shows that; the us e of power series approximation about the regular-singular points resolves the difficulties.
