Abstract
Generalized cavity theory is used to calculate the dose-response of the rad iochromic dye film MD55 to the X- and gamma-radiations from Pd-103 and I-12 5. Th, analysis indicates that for film calibrated using Co-60, the correct ion factor giving the dose to water is 1.81 +/- 0.05 for Pd-103 and 1.71 +/ - 0.05 for I-125. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
