Abstract
The H-type-1 antigen, a fucosylated histo-blood group antigen in human s and a tissue antigen in rodents is expressed under ovarian steroidal control in the endometrial epithelium and has been implicated in muri ne blastocyst implantation. We review our original observations implic ating this epitope in initial embryo adhesion in the light of other fi ndings and discuss more recent data on its control.
