Abstract
In recent years, tablets have gained a big share of the European market in various product categories such as automatic dishwashing detergents and ble ach boosters. The pan-European launch of detergent tabs from late 1997 mark ed the creation of a new segment. It is not yet possible to predict the fut ure size in the tablet segment in the heavy duty detergent market.
