Chiral dendrimers with three or six beta-amino alcohols on hyperbranched hy
drocarbon chain-ends were synthesized. These macromolecules can act as chir
al catalysts for the enantioselective addition of dialkylzincs to aldehydes
. The corresponding secondary alcohols are obtained in high enantiomeric ex
