A. Slavkovic et al., Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy monotherapy of 'stoned' internal ureteral stent in children - Case report, UROL INTERN, 64(1), 2000, pp. 33-35
A case of ESWL treatment, as monotherapy, of a 'stoned' ureteral stent in a
12-year-old boy was described. Two years previously, the patient had pyelo
lithotomy with staghorn stone removal, and double-J stent was left indwelli
ng intraoperatively, The patient was lost for follow-up for 2 years, when h
e had multiple stone formation adherent to the whole length of the stent. F
