Abstract
This contribution surveys recent results on numerical methods in micromagne tics elaborated in [2]. Standard conforming finite element spaces show non- stable behavior of convergence that amounts to suboptimal results of conver gence, whereas nonconforming finite element spaces give rise to a well-pose d problem with optimal convergence behavior. Different error indicators are proposed to run residual based adoptive strategies.
