Abstract
Two types of complexes were prepared at different pH's by the reaction of b icyclopentadienyl dichlorotitanium - acetylacetone complex with sodium of s ubstituted salicylic acid in aqueous medium. All of complexes were characte rized by elementary, IR and H-1 NMR analysis. The relationship between subs tituent and synthesis of titanocene of substituted salicylic complexes, and their property could be explained by Hammett equation. The results shaw th at Hammett a value has a great influence on the reaction. The larger the a value of substituent, the easier the product transforms from A form into B form. And the colour, decomposition temperature, IR and H-1 NMR of the prod ucts have a certain relation to their substituent.
