Abstract
The numerically generated series expansions complementary to widely used co mputer simulations of the Monte Carlo type, are presented. The effective al gorithm for generation of graphs, which constitute the basis of series expa nsions for spin-lattice systems, is introduced. The use of the numerically generated series expansions to calculate the free energy for the eight-vert ex model is explained and discussed in detail.
