Abstract
Communication: Coating extremely thin degradable template polymer fibers wi th the desired wall materials forms the basis of the straightforward and hi ghly versatile method described here for the production of polymer, metal, and hybrid nano- and mesotubes. Tubes with highly structured inner surfaces (see Figure) may be fabricated, which is of great interest for application s requiring large surface/volume ratios (see also cover).
