Abstract
Paralysis after use of a tourniquet during surgery is a well recognized com plication. Based on the electrophysiologic findings, 35 cases referred to o ur electromyography laboratory have been diagnosed as tourniquet paralysis within a 3-yr period. This preliminary report suggests that tourniquet para lysis should be considered during clinical and electrophysiologic evaluatio ns after primary nerve repairs.
