Urethro-prostatorectal fistulas occur rarely, and are often of iatrogenic o
rigin. Surgical access is complicated by their deep-seated site. However, t
he Mason York approach, i.e,, access via the posterior transanosphincteric
route, has a high success rate as it permits better exposure of the fistula
