Abstract
Germination rare and germination capacity of Eucalyptus globulus Labill. in creased significantly with increasing temperature (13 degrees to 33 degrees C) for all seed sizes to an optimum at 28 degrees C, then decreased. Bigge st seeds generally germinated best at all temperatures. Germination was als o very sensitive to water potential (0 to -0.75 MPa), with no germination o ccuring at potentials below -0.25 MPa.
