Mas. Sheikh et al., A STUDY ON THE ECONOMIC-FEASIBILITY AND QUALITY OF FINE YARNS SPUN BYSPINGARD SPINNING FRAME, Cellulose Chemistry and Technology, 30(5-6), 1996, pp. 517-521
For making value added jute products, fine yarns of 14.5 Nm, 11.6 Nm a
nd 9.68 Nm were spun by Spingard Spinning Frame and their costs of pro
duction were analysed. The yarns were tested at the BJRI Testing Labor
atory and at the Kamafully Jute Mills Ltd. Yam of 9.68 Nm was found to
be technically and economically viable with respect to spinning, wind
ing, beaming, weaving, wastage and cost of production.
