New infrared spectra of (GeO)-O-18 in ground electronic state 0(+) from a p
recursor isotopically enriched in O-18, enable assignments of vibration-rot
ational transitions that are combined with published data of frequency type
for pure rotational and vibrational-rotational transitions of (GeO)-Ge-70,
72,73,74,76-O-16 in global fit to yield only six adjusted parameters that,
with two constrained parameters related to electric dipolar moment and rota
tional g factor, reproduce 5484 observations generally within, precision of
their measurement. Comparison. of these results of GeO is made with parame
ters of reanalysed data of SiO, GeS and GeSe and with previously evaluated
parameters of CO; all these compounds are formed from chemical elements in
groups 14 and 16 of the periodic chart.
