Abstract
The removal of large follicles 3 d after AI during induction of superovulat ion of cows had detrimental effects on the number of transferable and freez able embryos. The removal of large follicles 1 d after Al had no effects on embryo quality. Therefore, this procedure appears not to be beneficial in improving the numbers of embryos available for transfer following superovul ation of cattle.
