Abstract
Based on the factor space theory, several models of neurons, both with and without respect to time, are proposed and investigated. The mechanism of ne urons is also discussed in detail. Several of the models formulated are bas ed on the Weber-Fechner law, Fukushima's model, and the concept of variable weights. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
