Abstract
We present the results of a renormalization-group calculation of the s pecific heat of confined He-4 near T(lambda) for three different geome tries: parallel plates, rectangular box, and cube in three dimensions. Our results for the plate geometry are compared with existing data an d with recent 4 - epsilon expansion results at epsilon = 1. Prediction s are made for measurements close to T(lambda) under microgravity cond itions.
