Abstract
The decomposition of benzene and acetylene in electric carbon are and non-e quilibrium discharge plasmas was studied in order to produce carbon gas. Th e composition of various gaseous and condensed products (fullerenes, amorph ous carbon and graphite, amino acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons) were analysed and discussed in relation to the operating parameters.
