We report measurements of the magnetization of 0.1 monolayers of He-3
in a thin He-4 film as a function of temperature and from these we det
ermine the binding energies of the He-3 in the mixture film as a funct
ion of the He-4 coverage. For He-4 coverages between 0.21 and 0.53 ang
strom-2 the He-3 binding energies obtained are in reasonable agreement
with predictions of Pavloff and Treiner for the He-4 coverage depende
nce of the binding energy.
