Abstract
1.2 Tbit/s (30 x 42.7Gbit/s ETDM channel) WDM transmission over three 125km spans (span loss: 31.5dB average) has been demonstrated, based on the use of the carrier-suppressed return-to-zero format and forward error correctio n in a 50nm tellurite-based EDFA gain band.
