Abstract
All-optical Boolean OR functionality is demonstrated in an all-active Miche lson interferometer allowing simple, stable and efficient operation. This i s the first time, to the authors' knowledge, that the OR functionality is d emonstrated in an integrated device. Good performance at 10 Gbit/s is obtai ned with a high extinction ratio of similar to 12.5dB.
