J. Rocha et Mw. Anderson, Microporous titanosilicates and other novel mixed octahedral-tetrahedral framework oxides, EUR J INORG, (5), 2000, pp. 801-818
Stable microporous materials, such as zeolites, are extremely important for
applications in catalysis, adsorption, ion-exchange, and separation. In th
is review we describe a new class of stable microporous materials that invo
lves novel mixed octhaedral-tetrahedral framework oxides. The archetypal ma
terial is based on titanosilicates, although there is tremendous scope for
introducing many other transition metals. These materials not only have pot
ential novel applications in the fields normally associated with zeolites b
ut also possible applications in the areas of optoelectronics, nonlinear op
tics, batteries, magnetic materials and sensors.
