Abstract
The synthesis of new nitrido(phthalocyaninato)molybdenum (1-4) and -tungste n complexes (5-7) starting from the corresponding phthalonitriles and MNCl3 (M = Mo, W) is reported. In addition, the reaction of (tBu(4)Pc)WN (6) wit h PPh3 leading, after several steps, to the diamagnetic compound (tBu(4)Pc) WO (7) is described. The reaction of (tBu(4)Pc)ReN (9) with PPh3 leads to [ (tBu(4)Pc)ReO](2) (12), and of [(C5H11)(8)Pc]ReN (10) with PPh3 leads, unde r different conditions, to {[(C5H11)(8)Pc]ReO}(2)O (11).
