L. Defreyne et al., Cirsoid renal arteriovenous malformation treated by endovascular embolization with n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate, EUR RADIOL, 10(5), 2000, pp. 772-775
The authors report a rare case of renal arteriovenous malformation (rAVM) w
hich was diagnosed by arteriography years after onset of intermittent haema
turia. The rAVM of the cirsoid type was superselectively catheterized and e
mbolized in tote with n-butyl 2-cyanoacrylate. Diagnostic imaging modalitie
s and the technique of embolization are discussed.
