Intra-abdominal desmoplastic small round-cell tumor: a rare cause of peritoneal malignancy in young people

We report the CT and pathological findings of an intra-abdominal desmoplast ic small round-cell tumor in a young man. Computed tomography showed an ext ensive peritoneal and mesenteric disease with gross bulky masses, direct li ver invasion, and lymph node involvement. This entity should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a young male patient presenting with featu res of widespread peritoneal malignant disease.
