Abstract
A comprehensive thermodynamic study of a bilayer of HD adsorbed on gra phite has been completed. Adsorption isotherm and adiabatic heat capac ity measurements on different types of exfoliated graphite yield a pha se diagram with a well defined solid-liquid-vapor triple point at 8.44 K, and a liquid-vapor critical point at 11.45K, both intermediate betw een those of bilayer pure H2 and D2 on the same substrate.
