Abstract
All trans-retinoic acid (ATRA) has improved the outcome of patients with ac ute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). Despite the fact that ATRA is usually wel l tolerated, major adverse effects can be observed in a minority of cases. We report here a we of acute life-threatening hepatic toxicity caused by AT RA in a patient with APL.
