PRESENCE OF COENOBIA-RUFA (LEPIDOPTERA, NOCTUIDAE) IN THURINGIA (GERMANY), ITS HABITAT AND NATURE CONSERVATION MEASURES

The noctuid moth Coenobia rufa has a patchy distribution in Germany. O nly a few remarks concern Thuringia. The habitat we found was the plan t association of Juncetum subnodulosi with the assumed food plant Junc us subnodulosus, The influence of management measures on population de velopment of C. rufa is discussed. To validate our implications of sup porting management measures it is necessary to collect more detailed i nformation about primary and secondary habitats, migration ability and population dynamics of the species.
