Abstract
A simple and efficient solid state transformation of 2-(p-arylideneaminophe nyl)-1,8-naphthyridines 1 to 2-(p-aroylaminophenyl)-1,8-naphthyridines 3 us ing m-chloroperbenzoic acid (m-CPBA) at room temperature has been described . The method is preparatively convenient and useful.
