Abstract
Oxidation of selected alcohols and oximes to the corresponding carbonyl com pounds has been achieved with quinolinium fluorochromate (QFC) in dichlorom ethane solvent under reflux conditions. The oxidation reactions have been f ound to be smooth and gave the products in good yield.
