Abstract
Investigations have been carried out on the deposition of compact lead layers on the surfaces of various metallic substrates. It is shown th at the lead coatings so obtained are non-uniform in thickness and feat ure high porosities. The lead-film electrode thus produced on the surf ace of a fine copper grid can be used as a positive electrode in the l ead-acid battery.
