Abstract
The effects of temperature and cryptand complex concentration upon the cond uctivity of the system sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate + 2,2,4-trim ethylpentane + water have been studied. The cryptand complexes (potential p hase-transfer catalysts) used in the ternary systems were 4,7,13,16,21,24-h exaoxa-1,10-diazabicyclo[8.8.8]hexacosane, 4,7,13,16,21-pentaoxa-1,10-diaza bicyclo[8.8.5]tricosane, and 4,7,13, 18-tetraoxa-1,10-diazabicyclo[8.5.5]ei cosane.
