Abstract
Precision measurements of the magnetisation curve of liquid He-3 provi de a way to test the various microscopic theories of this Fermi liquid . In this aim, we have developed a magnetometer, which measures a torq ue due to a He-3 sample in a magnetic field gradient. We used this dev ice in resistive and hybrid magnets at Grenoble and Nijmegen up to fie lds of 25T and at temperatures down to 50 mK. We present preliminary r esults on the field and temperature dependence of the magnetisation.
