Abstract
A comparative study on Punctelia borreri, P. perreticulata and P. subrudect a from the Iberian Peninsula has been carried out. New data are incorporate d for the differentiation of the three species on the basis of medullary su bstances, lower cortex colour, thallus morphology and characters of pycnidi a and conidia.
