Abstract
Endometrial sampling is a safe procedure for the evaluation of abnormal ute rine bleeding. Indications, contraindications, and complications are discus sed. Two classes of sampling modalities, cytologic and histologic, are pres ented. The characteristics of different devices are described, and recommen dations for use are given.
