Abstract
Tamalia inquilinus Miller, NEW SPECIES, is described from California and is compared with its frequent gall-inducing associate, Tamalia coweni (Cocker ell). A key is presented for distinguishing the known species of Tamalia. I t is suggested that T. inquilinus may be entirely dependent on T. coweni fo r the induction of galls that the two species co-occupy.
