Abstract
Formulas for of osmotic pressure and second sound velocity of a polari zed system are derived and applied to polarized dilute solutions of He -3 in superfluid He-4. Results are compared to experiment. Agreement i s reasonable, but inferior to that obtained for transport properties r einforcing the claim of Meyerovich that the theory may have some conce ptual difficulties.
