Abstract
Complete formulas for the QED corrections of the first order in cr to the r adiative recombination of an electron with a bare nucleus are derived. An a nalysis of the ultraviolet and infrared divergences is presented. Applicati on of the formulas to the radiative electron capture process is discussed. Numerical results are presented for the vacuum-polarization correction eval uated in the Uehling approximation and for a part of the self-energy correc tion.
