Abstract
Using the cutting and sewing procedure we show how to yet Feynman diagrams. up to two-loop order, of Phi(4) theory with an internal SU(N) symmetry gro up, starting from tachyon amplitudes of open bosonic string theory. In a pr operly defined field theory limit, we easily identify the corners of the st ring moduli space reproducing the correctly normalized field theory amplitu des expressed in the Schwinger parametrization.
