The problems of charge strips formation, spin-charge separation, and stabil
ity of the antiphase domain wall (ADW) associated with a stripe are address
ed using an analytical approach to the t-J(T), model. We show that a metall
ic stripe together with its ADW is the ground state of the problem in the l
ow doping regime. The stripe is described as a system of spinons and magnet
ically confined holons strongly coupled to the two dimensional spin environ
ment with holon-spin-polaron clementary excitations filling a one-dimension
al band.
