Abstract
Experimental data on nuclear isomeric-state excitation cross sections and i someric ratios in (gamma, n) reactions in the giant dipole resonance energy region are summarized for a wide range of nuclei with A = 45-197. The expe rimental isomeric ratios are compared with the calculated values and with t he results from the reactions (n, 2n), (p, n), etc.
