Abstract
4'-Hydroxy-7,8-[2-(2-hydroxyisopropyl)dihydrofuran]flavan and 4',7-dihydrox
y-8-(3,3-dimethylallyl)flavan, together with 10 known plant constituents, w
ere obtained from the trunk: bark of Brosimum acutifolium. Their structures
were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 2D NMR spectroscopic t
