Abstract
Two new quaternary alkaloids, 9-methoxy-N-b-methylgeissoschizol and guiachr ysine together with the known compounds C-alkaloid O, fluorocurine, mavacur ine, macusine B and C-profluorocurine. were isolated from Strychnos guianen sis stembark. The structures of the compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved .
