Abstract
Phosphorylation of per-6-O-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)cyclodextrins and desil ylation of the resulting compounds is studied with the purpose of preparing new types of phosphorylated cyclodextrins containing free primary hydroxy groups, showing increased solubility in water, and capable of undergoing fu rther regioselective functionalization.
